1961-63 'High Performance' head number esoterica

Going through some of the material on head numbers, I became curious as to what are the differences between three 'high performance' heads for 1961-63 engines. The three head numbers I'm curious about are:

3788739

3795960

3796023

The first head number seems to only apply to the 1961 98 hp motor.

The second and third head numbers are for 102 hp motor in 1962 and 1963 Corvairs and apparently the 1961 98 hp motor too. There are other 'HP' head numbers for the 62 and 63 cars, but the above numbers are the ones I'm curious about, specifically with regards to the 1961 application.

What's the difference if any on these three heads other than a set of numbers? (different numbers are for different assembly plants (Oakland, Willow Run, etc)?, differences with valves?, differences in date of casting? etc.)

I don't.

The head numbers I gave out about are found online and in Clark's catalog.

The '61 heads don't have the provisions for automatic chocks. I'm not sure what the '62-'63 differences would be.

What Rex wrote is right. Can’t use 60, 62-63 carb choke mechanisms with 61 heads. No hole drilled for tubes or rods to pass through.

I "believe" that the compression ratio on the "high performance" heads was the big difference vs the "regular" ones.

It seems that I saw one '61 head that had a chock hole in it. It is after all in the same location as the '60 hot air chock tube. The casting is for sure there if not drilled and it is not hard to drill them. The first time I did a set I just eye balled it and they came out fine. The second ones I did I made a guide in the lathe and I'm sure they came out better. On the bottom of the head I just attached them with the lower shroud bolt and formed the lower shroud around them as needed.
