The car looks pretty decent to me, although the picture showing the clutch pedal bothers me. It appears that the pedal is resting almost to the floor. Can the car be driven ? Did the seller mention anything about it being hard to shift ?
The video of it running sounds wierd to me. I don't recall ever hearing a knock like that. It COULD be something like a screw that is too long, sticking through the top shroud & hitting the fan. It could also be a broken piston. It's really hard to tell from just hearing the video.

The Ebay listing is for autobahn engines in Michigan. They have mixed reviews but I have no personal knowledge of them. They were discussed here a few years ago so you can do a search and contact people who do know them.

One thing for sure is the noise in your video is not from the fan.
