() Date: November 04, 2022 01:21PM WELCOME ! ! ! With a 58 year old car, it is most likely you will need to replace some front steering and suspension parts. Have you looked at the steering arm bushing? Those are usually shot, and it is the easiest single part to replace. Create a Signature line in your profile, and tell us where you are. There may be someone just down the road who can look at your car in person, and give even better advice than someone online. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Tighten steering 64 monza spyder Posted by:

() Date: November 04, 2022 01:35PM as stated, check the pitman arm bushing first. Originals are made of rubber and deteriorate over time. New replacements can be rubber or nylon. Nylon offer much better response and feedback. There is a procedure to tightening up the steering box in the service manual. Highly recommended that you get the 1961 Service manual and the correct supplement for you year.
