Powerglide Cable to Valve Positioning

I'm asking for a second set of eyes on the adjustment for the valve when the shifter is set to Drive. It looks correct, but I just want to make sure. There is a bit of play (ball into slot/pin into valve) so with light finger pressure I have biased the valve forward in the first image and rearward in the second image.

FWIW, it is the same shifter, cable, case, and throttle body that came with the car. Thus why I feel it is correct.

Looks perfect to me, assuming the shifter is in Drive. Should be just below flush with the second web and that's what I'm seeing.
