Yeah I ended up getting them shipped for half the lowest UShip quote but still way more than the vans cost.

Joel,
Nice pair of '63's

I was just in Roanoke for a week. Being from Arizona the Texas humidity was a @#$%&.

Texas does not seem to have the homeless issues like California & Arizona. I didn't see anyone living on the side walk in front of Buc-ees or QT.

Nice area you live in.

You should have stopped by. I'm right on the Roanoke border off 114.
The humidity was really bad 2 weeks ago. This past week was pretty nice.

The vans arrived today and are out back getting acquainted with all their siblings. The gray one is showing off doors 7 & 8.

Once you take into account the number of gun owners and Joel’s Corvairs the good people of Texas don’t have enough room for vagrants eye popping smiley

Our Governor would require Joel to put cots in the vans and house the homeless. There is talk of owners of empty properties being REQUIRED to make them available for habitation. This isn't a political comment, I'm just thinking of the lack of parking spaces to park Corvairs should these empty dwellings become inhabited. eye rolling smiley

Hey, instead of a circuitous Corn Maze so popular during the Fall season perhaps Joel could arrange the 138 and make a Corvair Maze. grinning smiley

Joel,
There are two Good-Guys Hot Rod shows at Texas Motor Speedway every year. Typically I go to both, but always go to the one sponcered by Summit Racing because they invite me. I'll reach out to you next time & see if you have time to show me your collection.

If you want to go Good-guys when I'm in town I can hook you up with a few passes.

Thank you,
Troy

I can see TMS from my house. I thought about going to the last one but that is as far as it went.
