Not sure what you did to get it to shrink!
I just downloaded the enlarged version, and then attached it to the post above..
It seems to be displaying at the resized, size.
Which it should, since it was resized, and not a change of display size. (are you sure you clicked on the enlarged version, and not your original?)
As for the question about storage, I deleted the first download shortly after posting it.
I had no need of it, other than to use as an example.
It is simple stored HERE on the forum, IN this thread.
NOT in any of my files.
Not on my computer, nor in "My Files" here on the forum.
I will do the same with the LARGE version I just downloaded, and re-posted, to test the resizing thing.
.
What ever, you are correct that the forum software could stand to be updated.
.
As for two minutes being a long time, I said LESS than two minutes.
I am not sure just exactly how long it took, as I don't have seconds displayed on my computers clock.
All I know is it said 8:19 when I started, and read 8:20 when I finished.
How far into each of those minutes it was when I started, and finished is anyone's guess.
Also during that time, I downloaded a picture that was not ALREADY on my computer.
AND I wrote my comment. (I am a notoriously slow typist.)
.
The point was, and still is, using Paint to resize a picture for use on CCF, is NOT a difficult process, nor does it take any real significant amount of time.
While many here like to use outside posting services, it leaves us open to losing many great informational threads.

Well.

I think there's nothing for it but for me to call you up and punch you through the phone! Not only that, but the next time I'm under the car not knowing what the hell I am looking at, just you see if I call you and let you help me!

And this thread isn't closed?
A guy just threatened to punch a guy out, simply because he is confident his way of posting images is the only true way of doing it.

Hang in there Mel. New guys that have all the answers generally fade into history in short order. gggg

RELAX people!
It was a JOKE!
Did no one notice the other comment?
The one where he mentions CALLING me for help? (yes, we talk off line also)
This entire thread has simply been friendly banter, and a polite exchange of OPINIONS.
I have simply stated my views, and Glen has shared his.
At no time, has either of us displayed any REAL animosity towards each other, and if anyone thought otherwise, I am sorry to have presented that image.
Did no one see the ";-)" at the end of Glen's comment?
And the ending closure?
The part where he signs off with,

Your Pal,

Help! I'm fading...

Sorry to have given the wrong impression, Richard.

Mel lives about two thousand miles away, but close to one of my sons. We were going to meet up until I had to change my plans. He'll probably see me in a couple of months when I'm out his way to meet my new grandson.

All's well.
