() Date: September 11, 2022 08:17AM I've been screwed. And not just once, but twice! First there was that guy selling them on this forum in an array of factory colors. Bought and paid for the largest capacity in Maroon, and never did get it. Then there was CORSA selling them. Ordered and paid for the largest capacity in red. Same story. Even contacted the CORSA office, and was told it was on back order. But to this date, haven't seen hide nor hair of one. Either one. Nice..... ![]() -Mark Re: Remember those Corvair-shaped thumb drives? Well.... Posted by:

() Date: September 11, 2022 08:31AM This one? [corvaircenter.com] I looked into selling an EM version and discussed it here but I never took any money or orders because the deal with the overseas vendor began to look a little too flakey. () Date: September 11, 2022 10:00AM I ordered a Corvair tee shirt from an offer I think I saw on the CORSA forum along with several other offers. It took forever to come. The graphics were extremely bad as if something the size of a 2x3" jpg had been expanded to chest size. To top it off, when it arrived it arrived POSTAGE DUE. I had to go to the post office and get it out of jail by paying an additional $3.76 in addition to the shipping charges I paid. The seller had sent this in a large cardboard envelope and only paid letter fee while the post office considered it a package. These people may be unprofessional amateurs doing the best they can, but I felt cheated. If I hadn't seen this posted on a Corvair forum, I would never have done business with these people. () Date: September 11, 2022 10:45AM I never got the 2nd order that I ordered from OP of the other post. I had PayPal refund me after I submitted claim with messages I sent asking for it and a link to the discussion. The Corsa one I got. But I think it was because I ordered the Corsa Tech Guide with Rev 5. They recently sent me an updated Corsa Tech Guide on the Vair drive as there was some issue with the first drive document. So I now have a few Vair USB here at home for my use. Al Georgia Re: Remember those Corvair-shaped thumb drives? Well.... Posted by:

() Date: September 11, 2022 10:59AM I did get one from the original seller here on the forum. Mainly its an ornament by my monitor. Yesterday tried to use it and it was dead. Oh well it still retains its decorative use. David Malcolm 1969 Monza PG Coupe NJ near the Meadowlands Re: Remember those Corvair-shaped thumb drives? Well.... Posted by:

() Date: September 12, 2022 12:29AM "Yeah, especially since I just got a 2TB for $19 bucks" I hope you're joking... Dont put anything you ever want to retrieve on the "2TB" drive. You will quicly find out that although the drive reoports 2TB of storage space, It is really much less than that and all it will do when it reaches its true limit, it will just start writting data over itself. The file table may report that its there, but its being dupped. You wont be able tp retreive anything except the most recent of filles and thsts only if dose not exceed the atcual limit of storage. () Date: September 12, 2022 03:17PM I've got 2 or 3 from the original batch sold on here - never used them, just on display. I do NOT think the CORSA ones are from the same supplier - I believe they are slightly smaller, if I remember the one my Dad got. Eric P. DeWitt, IA Re: Remember those Corvair-shaped thumb drives?
