front floor heater door pin removal

I'm sure someone out there has been successful in removing the heater door pins. I have been wrestling with them off and on, any insight is greatly appreciated

If it is for an EM there is a push clip that holds them on. I am talking about the heater/defroster door flaps.

Thanks Roger, yes it is an EM, 63 Spyder cnvert. I’ll have a look again in the morning
