She's a Runner!!!

After two years of tinkering, trial and error, I took my 65 Corsa Turbo around the block! I had to wedge my phone between the dash pad and windshield, so it's pretty rough...

While a major milestone for a neophyte car guy, there's still a lot to do--four wheel alignment, Weber DCOE tune, valves, muffler install/exhaust inspection, brake inspection, the short in my gauge cluster needs to be addressed, and at some point I have to address the sloppiness in the shift linkage and steering!

However, the Konis felt great and much stiffer than I remember! Can't wait to get it all together well enough to put my foot in it on some curvy roads!

Thanks! Now I have to find a good mechanic to check my work, but the best help will come from a tuneup day!

Dannnnnnnng it! That's autocorrect doing me wrong again. Should've been a simple, "Woooo!" I mean, I know that *other* feeling, too, but sheesh.

I hate to admit it Eric but autocorrect has nipped me more often than I care to admit!
It’s the first post I read this morning and really started things off with a good laugh grinning smiley
