I am in Orange, Calif ( near Disneyland )& need a windshield. I am finding out that they are hard to find. Does anyone know of a source & someone who can install it ?
PM would be OK.

It is glue in-windshield, so any modern glass installer should be able to install the windshield. I am on the east coast, and at one time I had a slew of them but sold them off. About 20 years ago my wholesaler offered me a few pallets (aorix 200) of late model tinted windshields for $75 each, but I had no place to put them so I only bought what I had room for at the time. In retrospect, I should have bought them all. The other thing was that I didn't want to invest $15000 in glass!

Doug,
I bought one earlier this year at a place called "AutoGlass now"....it only cost me like $130 incl tax. I did NOT have them install it as my L/m needed some body work/welding done due to the dreaded l/m lower windshield rust.
Not sure if they exist on the west coast, but a number of locations out here and I know they are a national franchise.
Good luck.

Update:
Doug, I went on their website and searched for location nearest to Orange, CA and they listed this one:
Pinedale
(559) 999-3214
30 W Spruce Ave
Pinedale, California 93650

Don't know if that's anywhere near you, but hope it helps.

According to Google maps, it is near Fresno - a couple hundred miles away.

Thanks George. Yup that's a little far. Maybe something will show up a little closer.

Golden State Paint and Body in Porterville had no problem ordering them. I think they got them from Bakersfield. But I used then there in California with no problem. The owner is a former Corvair owner. It was also only about 200 bucks, this being 2018.
