Muffler options for 1964 and later single 110 hp?

Have done some big spending lately with our favorite Corvair suppliers...

My piggy bank is running low.

Is there a universal-fit muffler that fits these cars?

I have the 1964 with the single oval-section muffler.

Hoping for perhaps a close fit I can pick up locally.

I've seen some universals that look pretty close.

Spent hours researching and conferring.

Just checked out at Clark's.

Sears $19.99 Muzzler lifetime warranty muffler works great! Even comes with the tail pipe.

Oh, It's not 1983 any more.angry smiley Sorry. What I could do with a time machine...Buy stock. I don't think mufflers would go through the time machine.grinning smiley

So, Walker 21513 was a good muffler and Walker 18122 was the economy version. These were mentioned in a post by Seth Emerson and myself in 2019. Again, I do not find these for sale, another time machine needed. I'm getting really sad too.

See if Google gets you either of these.

Do you need the crossover too? Here is the post I mentioned:

Yep, Clark's (and other Corvair vendors) is the easy answer now.smileys with beer

I had a Commodore 64 computer system with the NEW Geos operating system which included this nifty new graphic email system called AOL. I suggested that we buy some stock in AOL because it seemed to me to be a real breakthrough. Wife said the stock market was like gambling and she didn't gamble, so we skipped it. Might have been the only brilliant financial idea I ever had, but I would have squandered any profits on strange old cars. Around that time, I had a '72 Buick Riviera with the boat tail then, I think. What a beast.
