() Date: August 04, 2022 06:30PM I know there isn't a readily available method for getting rear shoulder belts in a vert but has anyone done it? This is a very industrious bunch so I'd love to hear some ideas on how it could be done. Maybe it's impossible but it would make my wife a lot more comfortable having the kids ride in the Vair. () Date: August 04, 2022 06:42PM First problem is that there is no metal in the rear of the Corvair that would support the forces generated by shoulder seatbelts / crash. Then, there is the design of the seatbelts themselves. Possibility of the belts doing more harm than good depending on the type of crash. Just because you install them does not mean that they will work effectively. Re: Ideas for LM Vert Rear Shoulder Belts Posted by:

() Date: August 05, 2022 06:13AM These were installed in the Bluvair when I got it 4 1/2 years ago. I just replaced and restored things around them. I'm not exactly sure what car they're out of, but the style makes me think 80s American. Eric C.
