() Date: July 30, 2022 09:44AM Phil- From the Atlantic, to the Rockies is the 'East Coast' when it comes to rust. Plenty of salt usage here in Iowa... Eric P. DeWitt, IA Re: Does this Qualify as Enough Rust Frank? Posted by:

() Date: July 30, 2022 09:36PM Put a marine tank in it and start it up for a drive! ![]() ![]() Earlies are tanks compared to late models. Way more bracing and thick metal in them. Especially true of the convertibles. I have not see one rusted on the forward edge of the quarter like that one. ![]() ![]() Late model engine. Aftermarket wiper delay box. Even the upholstery is OK. I took a 62 from Ohio apart that was similar, good interior, not much body left, too much salt in everything on the body. My friend rebuilt the 102 and put it in his 63.
