I am selling my 1962 Spyder

Hello all. I have had my 1962 Corvair Spyder 150hp turbo for fifteen years. But, alas, it is time to part ways with it. I would love to see it go to an owner who will love it as much as I do. So, I am posting it here on the site before I go the craigslist and ebay route. The car is not perfect, I have been working on it slowly over the past 15 years. The paint is worn from wind and a car cover, and it leaks from the bell housing (probably the main seal). But, the car starts and runs it has $2,000 worth of head work from Inglewood Machine Shop (the same shop that California Corvairs uses), it has an electric fuel pump with the Clark's bypass so it looks stock, newer door panels, the interior is good but not great. It is an original California BLACK PLATE car, and as far as I know, has never left Cali. Again, I love the car but it's time.
I'm really not interested in hearing what's wrong with it, or what I should do with it. I just want to see it with an owner who loves it and a happy home.
Please contact me if you're interested.

I am guessing it is in So Cal. Location? Price? Pictures?
The first year for the first mass produced turbocharged car always stirs interest.

Is this a convertible or a coupe?

Take some photos and put them up on a website as an album.

Then post a link to the album here on CCF.

More photos the better.

Does the turbocharger make good boost? Runs smoothly and no smoking?
Start easily when cold and warm?

Thanks

I'm working on getting the pictures up. THe turbo was recently rebuilt, seems to make good boost, nice whistle when it spools up. the car does not smoke at all.

That is exactly what the trolls (you know who you are) here will do...don't take it personal.

Here is a link to a photo album (i think, I'm not great at computering)
These pictures are from last summer. The paint has since faded considerably due to a car cover and winds (I guess?)

Yeah, I can see the photos, that's a good looking Spyder, Billy!

If you can, please take a photo of the Fisher Body ID plate that is in the back on the frame rail inside the engine bay.

That has good info in the codes.

Thank you.
