No judging, no trophies....but we will run Hwy 129 The Tail of the Dragon on
Saturday September 10
Mention Corvair Gathering for a double queen room or one room cabin for
105.00
per night. Call (828)498-2211. Online reservations will not receive group
rate. 2 and 3 bedroom cabins also available.
Friday and Saturday car display.

Forgot to mention...cost is 10.00 per Corvair. This is to help cover the cost of the hospitality room.

Made the 6 hour drive from Georgia on Friday.
Drizzling rain tried to dampen our Corvair dislay at The General Store on Friday afternoon but we persevered.
On Saturday, we ran the Tail of the Dragon with Richard Payne (Ratt643) leading the pack of four.
The road was dry and mostly clear of traffic.
The V8 Rampside handled the curves like a champ!
Tail of the Dragon action photos taken by Killboy.
Stopped into Deal's Gap and bought me a souvenir for the garage wall.
Big shout out to Richard Payne for all his hard work and dedication to making this event happen!
