() Date: July 23, 2022 07:44AM In all due respect, Moderator, there is nothing more stale than yesterday's news. If the info in the CC I just got was important enough to print at all, it should have been in an issue that went out and was delivered BEFORE the convention, online copies notwithstanding. Otherwise, what's the sense in printing it at all? Besides, how would I have known before the convention that there was going to be any (valuable?) information at all in the issue I was going to get after the convention was over? There's just no logic in that at all. ![]() Ok, sure, I could have gone to the online edition, but call me old-fashion if you will, regardless, I LIKE having a paper copy in my hand. And I pay extra for it, so I should be entitled to have at least the timely delivery of it, if not priority advance delivery of it. Ya think? Just my opinion on it, nothing more. -Mark Re: Just arrived today 7/20/22 - the pre-convention CC ![]() Posted by:

() Date: July 26, 2022 02:45PM I guess you can say I'm nit-picking, but it appears the grille bars on the beautiful '62 on the back cover are installed incorrectly. Unless the owner prefers a different look than as it left the factory. Wade Re: Just arrived today 7/20/22 - the pre-convention CC ![]() Posted by:

() Date: July 27, 2022 05:02AM I'm glad we can still get a Communique to have and hold. I spend too much time on the screen here. USPS is overwhelmed with packages. They're even delivering packages on Sunday around here to try and catch up. No day of rest is a crying shame. I'm pretty sure Convention information was available outside the magazine. There's plenty of opportunity for disappointment with goods and services in the world today. It's good the folks with our Corvair parts are still on top of their game. () Date: July 27, 2022 09:21AM I suspect the most recent issue of the CORSA Communique were printed during the 1st week of July. Some may have received theirs before the convention. Regardless, I still like to get the hardcopy and it had the AWESOME article about the potential for a 1965 Rampside! Enjoy the Corvair! () Date: August 03, 2022 10:40AM I think the CORSA BOD has gone to great lengths to keep the magazine as a viable option. I suppose the cheapest USPS bulk periodicals rate possible is an attempt to keep it economically feasible. I imagine the low rate mailings might languish around the USPS system for a while so they can deliver the important items like shampoo from Amazon.
