Tickets were easy to buy online and Scott sent me a pic of tickets with my name on them. Thanks Scott, very efficient.

I consider it a small donation to a bunch of Corvair folks working hard on a great hobby. Good value to me as a Corvair junkie in seeing someone win a nice Corvair.

OH WOW!..Did you buy them just so you could bash me immediately after buying them?

I will stop preparing for the Toss (that I am in charge of) and fill out your tickets immediately.

I emailed you your 4 ticket numbers 24 hours after you bought them, on the day before I leave for the toss (again, that I am in charge of).

Our club was planning on filling out the remaining tickets Thursday night at our hotel rooms to give people the time to still get a few tickets. However, I cannot prepare everything I need to do to leave for the toss, work my full time job and stop to fill out impatient peoples tickets, so I am now going to shut off online ticket sales. The remaining tickets will be available at the Toss.

WoW!

After being chastised with no less than THREEeye popping smiley individual posts, I am beginning to wonder why I even bought some.

I didn't realize you were under so much stress.

Sorry, to have bothered you.

More than that, I am sorry to any other people, who like me, delayed until the last minute!

Sorry guys, I didn't realize one small comment was going to cause an avalanche of fall-out.

I sincerely hope that Scott changes his mind.
.
.
.
Just to clarify.
I had worded my post specifically as, "Haven't heard anything about my money spent."
Because ALL I was looking for was a confirmation that you had indeed received it.
You and I had been sending PM's (with immediate responses), as I placed my transaction.
The minute I sent one saying, the money was sent, you went silent.
I realized you were a busy person, and just let it go.
I figure you had stepped away from your computer.
24 hours later, after not receiving any confirmation of the money arriving, and knowing that several people had trouble getting their money to the correct location, I simply noted that I hadn't heard about my MONEY.
I was NOT bashing you, nor the club, nor was I attempting to get my ticket numbers.
I simply wanted to make sure I had done things correctly.
AGAIN, I am SORRY!

Please do NOT punish others for my bad judgement.

Yes, you did.
And it did not hit my computer until 2:11 PM THIS afternoon.
After, I had made my inquiry.

When you guys jump on here and say things like you did, the way you did, there is only one way to take it. It's an intentional insult. Why else would you word it the way you have? You meant to do damage. What do you think other people who may be interested in buying tickets will think of me and IECC when they read your posts? Did you consider that? Did you try to contact me or the club to ask before slamming us in public?

99.9% of the time when someone hasn't got a response or email from us its because they did not complete the transaction. We can't see when people "try" to buy a ticket. We only see when people "actually" buy a ticket. Plus you DO get a response automatically from PayPal that your transaction went through. You really shouldn't need a redundant response from me. Then per our website info you wait for your ticket numbers in another email. The website also stated we are all volunteers and it may take a bit to get the ticket number email.

All tickets purchased online have now been filled out and emailed.

Online sales are over. Remaining tickets will only be available at the Fan Belt Toss on Friday and Saturday prior to the raffle itself.

Thank you to all who bought tickets to support the Fan Belt Toss and good luck in the Raffle!

WoW! eye popping smiley

REALLY ? ? ?

Now you are a Mind Reader!

You have a Divine Ability to see the Intentions of The Heart.

That is Utterly AMAZING!

As far as you question about, "What do you think other people who may be interested in buying tickets will think of me and IECC when they read your posts?"

I would have expected them to understand it for exactly what it was.

As far as damaging the "Image" of IECC, I believe your rude bombastic responses to me, and my attempt at an honest apology has done more to tarnish the image of IECC, than one little comment from me.
