I need this part cut out for my ac system. Anyone here have the ability to cut flat steel parts?

You may have luck using something like Sendcutsend
[sendcutsend.com]

You will have to be able to upload a CAD drawing of the part though.

I don't envision part number 20 as being flat.

Certainly doesn't appear to be flat.

The main portion of the bracket is flat. It has a cylinder that is pressed in and drilled through to allow a bearing and pulley to be pressed in.

This looks like a pretty simple part. There is a place about 30 miles south of me that specializes in CNC laser cut fabrication of almost anything you can think of (similar to the people Nick suggested). They can do up to 1" thick carbon steel plate, so cutting this out of 1/4" A36 steel would be like cutting butter.

The limiting factor here is making a CAD model. Do you have an original part to send out for measurements?

True.
But it appears he wants Part Number 15, not 20.
Why Both are circled in Red though is beyond my understanding.

Sorry fellas about the confusion. I was looking for that part as well when I popped the infamous circle on that photo but now I just need the idler. Luckily someone had most of the brackets in a parts pile and let me have them including the correct 2 groove compressor!

Im fortunate that the final part is as simple as this is.

I can make a model but would need a high resolution scan of the part to trace. I have done this using a regular flat bed scanner on my printer… Ken

Edit: if you posted above is a trace, I could use that. You would just need to find a way to get it to me without changing the dimensions

It is a trace, I don’t have the part and only know of 2 right now out west that exist. I could print it out to scale. The small scale on the corner helps me print it correctly.

Talked to a CCC member yesterday that says he has some of these parts.

I will send him an email with a picture of the needed part...stay tuned.

Wow if he has that part he is the man.

I will say this little endeavor I know isn’t critical for my car to run but it’s been fun piecing it together.

Here is the traced print actually printed to size and bolted to the bracket. Its only purpose is to keep tension between the smog pump and compressor, the compressor is actually the one that is driven by the crank pulley, so technically I dont even need the pulley to use my ac but I really want to complete it since I am so deep into it.

Yessir I appreciate it, I could have a friend make the part from wood and mail it out to you if I need to. Having the main brackets to work with I can fit wood easily then get a good measurement made from it?
