This is what I have been doing for the last 6 months. This is the Corvair that I bought for my Son back in the mid 80s to drive in High School. I bought him a newer car when he went to College and sold the Corvair. He had always wanted to have it back so last December I found it and bought it back. It was in sad shape but after 6 months it is 90% complete. He has no idea that I have done this and I plan to present it to him when he comes home next week for the 4th. I hope he likes it!

THe engine is a factory crate engine that was installed in 1973 by the previous owner before I bought it the first time. The car sat in a shed for 25 years before I bought it back. It has the original transaxle. It was originally a 140.I have documented the restoration with over 100 pictures.
