I would like to find a set of Minilite style wheels for my ‘65 EO convertible.
Does anyone have recent suggestions on brand / source? I would like to find 15 inch if possible.

VTO Wheels are advertised on page 25 of the latest Corsa Communique. 5 different styles, including "Classic 8", similar to minilite.
They've been in the Communique for a long time. Call them, they should know Corvairs.

There are different styles of Minilte wheels! I think the Original " Sport" version is the best looking IMHO!

these are great looking wheels, what backspacing is recommended for a LM?

At least 4" BS Mine are 14 x 7 with 205-60-14. A little hard to find!

You can order them straight from MINILITE in England. Talk to Russ. I ordered 3 sets of 15x7's 4 years ago and they were right at $1000 a set with lugs, caps and shipping. You would be surprised how cheap the shipping is on them from the UK.I will prob see Russ in September at Goodwood.

I am actually looking for a set of minilite wheel lug nuts. I tried contacting the company in England but have heard nothing back. I got a favorable deal on the wheels and would like to use them on one of my corvairs. Anyone got a full set of lugs?

Me too!

What is the inside diameter of the holes in the wheel? If it is .75", then I have a couple of sources for lug nuts. The last set of Minilites I had used a 3/4" diameter shank.

I had steel inserts installed on all of the Minilites I have had to be able to use regular accorn type lug nuts. On my first set, i did have a set of stainless lug nuts made. I dont trust the aluminum ones and are hard to find!

Only the street Minilite "Sport" wheels had the aluminum lug nuts. All the race wheels used steel lug nuts. I now have the tooling needed to modify wheels that originally had the Shank-type lug nuts (with washers) and press in the tapered seat inserts. A Bridgeport is a wonderful tool. I put the tapered-seat inserts into the last set of Minilites I had as well.

15" x 6", 35mm+ Offset

That works out to be a little over 4 inch backspace. Is that correct and will they fit ok on a late?
