Can anyone ID the year for these parts. They were in a box as part of a parts collection I bought.

They look like they are '65. The adjuster on the right looks like it is the shorter posi only adjuster. The parts are late model the yoke and straps are what are '65 only.

As stated in your facebook post, and as Rex stated, '65 differential parts. Those straps, bolts, and yokes are '65 only due to their smaller 1/4-20 bolts.

If you are selling the parts or using them for yourself, you need to inspect the 1/4-20 bolts.

They are the same size as the valve cover bolts.

Mechanics did not pay attention and used the "soft" valve cover bolts instead of the correct "hard" bolts.

The u-joint bolts are "hard" (grade 5 / 3 marks - memory?). Also, used a lock washer on the bolt.

The u-joint straps should be grade 8.

Stand corrected. Finally found some 65 straps with grade 8 bolts.

Some of those grade 8 bolts for these straps had taller heads on them. Most seem to be the standard height.
