They are extremely flexible and can move around corners and get under things.

I bought one of those endoscopic cameras a couple weeks ago, comes with an attachment with a mirror to see stuff at an angle, another attachmentvhas a magnet AND, one has a hook for grabbing small stuff. It was $40 I think.

Absolutely needed down the "black hole" at the rear of the engine compartment.

If I drop something in that black hole under the pulley, I use a long air nozzle and blow stuff to the right side where it is easy to pick up with a magnet of mechical finders. Lots of light needed when retrieving items.
