() Date: June 17, 2022 10:00AM Back when I was at UCSB (very briefly) over 40 years ago there was a guy up on San Marcus Pass that had a number of Corvairs. I wonder if this is his stuff? Re: Corvair parts Estate sale Ventura area Calif Posted by:

I often think the same thing but this time it IS close by (80 miles one way). However, I get "shy" feeling these people probably want to move a LOT of this stuff and I might only want a little this n' that and waste their time to accommodate me. Besides I'm a bottom feeder by nature and necessity. After spending $30 on gas I'd be looking for pennies on the dollar deals. If they have a far higher price in mind those conversations can get uncomfortable when you are holding the item in your hand. Too bad they weren't having an open house type of garage sale with stated times (like Saturday 9-4). It is easier to "blend in" with the crowd. I've seen those types of sales happen in the Studebaker community and they were rather successful. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ***'61 Lakewood, a "Freebie" in hibernation for 27 years - In the process of applying CPR.*** Re: Corvair parts Estate sale Ventura area Calif Posted by:

() Date: June 21, 2022 02:10PM The pics on drop box do show a ramp side. Maybe it has been sold ? I think the perfect 180 turbo impeller I need is hiding in there somewhere... Bob C aka Dryenko Dobson, NC 27017 Re: Corvair parts Estate sale Ventura area Calif Posted by:
