I'm looking for 2-4 uncut (or cut one coil only) front springs for a Late (honestly dont care if coupe, convert, HD, etc).

Let me know what you have...

I just purchased some springs for my 68’ convertible. They show they are HD coupe/sedan. Can anyone tell me what difference in convertible vs coupe/sedan springs there is? Just stiffness and I’m assuming I can run these without issue.

They have slightly different "load ratings" / "spring rates".

There are still some coil springs listed in the 1976 Parts Book reprint and the value is listed with the spring.

Based on some formula based on "sprung weight" / "unpsrung weight" and GVW. WAG.

Okay, I plan to run them, just wanted to see if there was a significant difference. GM had them offered for a reason.

There are also Corvair coil springs with a slightly different load rating for cars with air conditioning. "compensating" for the different weight / load?

GM obviously wanted the suspension "tuned" to a "standard" (whatever it was?).

These are discontinued by clarks, anyone happen to have a old catalogue with these listed? They are for a late but not sure what type.

Looking at my 2002-2006 edition of Clark's main catalog I see C762R listed as heavy duty front springs for all 1965-69 cars.

In the 2007-2012 and later catalogs Clark's lists C762CP for the 1965-69 coupe and 4-door and C762CT for convertibles.
