() Date: May 30, 2022 09:15AM It seems to me (maybe I'm wrong?) but it seems you guys hate mongrels. Don't know what else to call this, I LOVE it! Wish I had this guy's talent, or testicular fortitude to start cutting, and see it this far through! [bringatrailer.com] Scott Danville, In. () Date: May 30, 2022 12:55PM I like it. Needs some fine tuning, but overall, is a great foundation. The only time I dislike a "Rebody" is when it is a classic car that has real value, or when someone is switching tags. As for doing something like this to a Honda? There were so many of them made, hacking half a million of them will never be noticed in the grand scheme of things. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: OT: What were you doing with YOUR Kelmark? () Date: May 30, 2022 02:48PM Yes, back in the day, I am sure that no one ever thought the Corvair would ever be a classic, let alone collectible. BUT, even IF the Honda ever becomes a collectable classic, there will still be more them than we ever want to see. Disposable cars with chintzy plastic interiors that break after just a few years are not something I would want to go to car shows and look at. I know that some younger kids would disagree, but there is a reason our cars are still around after more than fifty years! () Date: May 31, 2022 09:11AM In truth, it's impossible to predict what is going to be a future collectable gold mine. Sure, some things are obviously destined to be collectible. Yet others aren't. Take for instance, the old '73-'90 Chevy C-K trucks, what is now being called the square body trucks. They made so many of them and over so many years (the longest running body design ever for a pickup truck), yet they are white-hot on the collectible market right now. So numbers means nothing. Other factors are also subject to exceptions. So never say never. -Mark Re: OT: What were you doing with YOUR Kelmark? Good for a laugh! Posted by:

() Date: May 31, 2022 04:20PM The concept looks well thought out. The fiberglass work needs improvement, but who am I to judge? I have zero bodywork skills.
