Alex, I would like to modify my answer

The 1967 lower door hinges are different than 68/9.
The upper door hinges are same 67/9.

Actually, I do believe that the '67 upper front door hinges are the same as the '68-9 hinges. It's the lower hinges that are different.

All hinges for both 2 and 4 door cars were changed in '67 from the previous designs.

I have pictures of them, but are going to have to resize them to post them. See later post.

67 airvair is right. I visually compared them and the bottom is configured different even though it could possibly fit.

WHY did they do MANY things different (one year only) on all of the '67s? confused smiley
If I had to guess, I would venture that it might have had something to do with the higher safety standards that were being implemented in the late sixties?
The early LM's had aluminum hinges, that could snap in an accident.
The '67s were improved, but then the new standards came out, and the '68-'69s needed something even better ? ? ?
MAYBE ? ? ?
