() Date: May 11, 2022 10:00AM Too often, I overlook something obvious, and end up looking like an idiot. What am I missing on this? Has anyone else tried ordering these? My order said back ordered, expected delivery around the end of May. Cardone is a well known brake component supplier, has anyone found them cheaper elsewhere? () Date: May 11, 2022 10:39AM I have two , they won’t fit inside a stock wheel. I also have the vented backing plates with bigger bore wheel cylinders, porterfield brake shoes. I would gladly sell it all cheap 1965 Crown V8 Racer 1964 Bill Thomas Monza Replica Racer 1964 Spyder Street Car 1979 Mazda RX7 Mike Levine Re: Aluminum brake drums available again? Posted by:

() Date: May 11, 2022 12:06PM It looks like the price went up $10-20 in the last ~6 years since I bought a pair from Rock Auto. With free shipping, this is a good price. They are also a good upgrade. I found that these are much more fade resistant than the plain cast iron drums. These are a classic example of the 80/20 rule: 80% of the benefit for 20% of the cost (compared to discs) James 65 Corsa SF Bay Area Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
