Anyone tell me what the average might is for a 65 140 4 carb 4 speed coupe

My name is Mike Worrell living in southern Iowa my vairs are a 64 2dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed light yellow with blk interior. Then a few months ago I got a 65 2 Dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed
Also light yellow with blk interior. Not sure what gear ratio as of now I'll have a look and up date. I really like them both but really liking the 65. They really made a lot of changes in a 1 year difference ????

Would expect manuals to get a little better mileage than automatics from that era cars. That isn’t necessarily true with today’s cars.

1965 Monza 140 barn find

In 2007, I once got 36 mpg going over the Cajon Pass in a 110 automatic Monza.

But then, that was because there was hardly any traffic, and I just put it in neutral and coasted down at highway speeds once I got over the hump.

16 on the highway. Sometimes better but not often and not by much

Best was 22 on California Highway !. Average speed was 40-50 mph and I was cruising with the traffic.

I'm not sure I can expect much more out of a Holley.

18 MPG average flat towing another Corvair , NC to AZ.
Back in the late 1980s
Fitch Sprint 140 , well tuned.
Duplicated same with a 1965 Corvair "110" coupe, flat towing a Dune buggy , AZ to NC
In 2004.
Have seen as high as 24- 25mpg on the same Fitch Sprint going to the Fan Belt Toss from Phx AZ to Palm Springs CA and back.
All of the above were running at just below the speed limit at like 68 MPH.
Proper tuning and Air / Ruel ratio can make a big difference.
