Late cove trim screw location differences-mid year or assembly plants?

I installed the cove trim on the Craigmobile a couple days ago and felt the hole spacing on the deck lid was odd, but kept on. Today I borrowed the battery out of my convertible for my FC and it caught my eye.

My two are oct/nov 65 built LOS cars, craigs is a jan 66 (?? im pretty sure, trim tag is protected from blasting) WRN car. I can confirm original deck lids on these three cars.

So, was this a mid year change, or another LOS vs WRN difference? My cars measure 5/8" from outer edge to center of hole, and Craig is 1 1/4".

I looked at my 66 los turbo car October and it looks like yours. I have a wrn 65 corsa here however that matches Craig’s with the farther set in screw.

Checked one of my 65 LOS cars: 03A

Matches your 65 LOS cars.

Different jigs at the plants.

Cody, my car is a 01C LOS car and the screws are 5/8" from the edge.
