() Date: March 03, 2022 08:27PM Just did a page refresh after the site sat open on my computer all day. As it refreshed, I watched the little banner in the top right grow longer. COOL! ![]() -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Attachments: Re: Presented by CORSA - Nice new touch ![]() Posted by:

() Date: March 03, 2022 09:11PM Indeed! - CORSA just completed the deal to acquire the Corvair Center Forum from the San Diego Corvair club. I got access this afternoon to the "admin" page and have a lot to learn!! I figure that I can make simple changes such as this and if something quits working I can go back and undo what I did! Glad you noticed! () Date: March 04, 2022 04:24AM Does this mean domain name has been sold ? Is that how it is done? Will the site now become a HTTPS one with less hacking potential ? Like we have seen by shoe sellers ? Asking for a friend. Bob C aka Dryenko Dobson, NC 27017 Re: Presented by CORSA - Nice new touch ![]() Posted by:

() Date: March 04, 2022 09:05AM I hope CORSA doesn't REQUIRE folks to be a CORSA member to use this site like they did on their site!!! Thanks San Diego club for the many years of supporting this site. Re: Presented by CORSA - Nice new touch ![]() Posted by:

() Date: March 07, 2022 11:39AM I really like the fact that we now have a Password Recovery option, BUT, I am not really thrilled with this new layout. And where did our emoji's go? -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Presented by CORSA - Nice new touch ![]() Posted by:

() Date: March 07, 2022 01:06PM NOPE! They are gone, and the entire format is all messed-up. It is terrible. And then every time I want to change pages, I get a pop-up message asking me if I am sure I want to do that, because I will be sending information over an unsecured connection. It is a real HASSLE!

() Date: March 07, 2022 01:24PM The emojis seem to be where they always were. I am using Chrome browser, and on the PC side of things, I am not seeing any changes. _________________________________________ Ryan Counterman (Moderator) 1965 Corsa Kelmark V8 400 HP ///1965 Monza Sedan 110/PG /// Ultimate Corvair Hauler/// Don Eichstaedt's 1965 Corsa Racecar West Michigan Corvair Club /// 1966 Corsa GTP Convertible Mid Engine 3.8L Supercharged ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Attachments: ![]() Re: Presented by CORSA - Nice new touch ![]() Posted by:

() Date: March 07, 2022 08:54PM It looks the same to me so far. I don't mind if I have to be a CORSA member but it might cut down on our population. I've told a few people to join who call looking for parts, I figure they might try it and get hooked. () Date: March 07, 2022 10:51PM On the other thread, "Changed the site to allow all types of devices to view CCF with a proper size layout. Posted by: 63_967_spyder Date: March 07, 2022 05:14PM An update: I disable 'protection' on the site by clicking the lock in the address bar (circled in red in attached image) and now it all appears as before. I think that firefox is blocking images, etc. when the https is enable. Just reporting this to be helpful to admins" I did this (click the lock), and everything is now back to normal. ![]() -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
