That tensioner design always worked well on my EM cars. Seems a little pricie though. I think a suitable spring & hose dampener could be had at Ace Hardware store for just a few bucks. My 2 cents. Instead of the complicated spring attachment shown, I would just drill a small hole in the top of the bracket for the spring to hook in to.( there is already a small "boss" cast in to the bracket that is appropriate to put the spring in. ) A little "L" bracket screwed to the rear beam in the engine bay will hold the spring.

The tensioner is the old OTTO version (pre Clark's). Dad started spiral cutting the alumn tube and sliding it over the spring. It really helps negate the harmonics the tensioning spring makes. That tensioner works great
