I'm looking for a good rear seat bottom frame for my 1965 Corsa Convertible

I'm in Springdale, AR. If I understand correctly, the coup is a little wider than the convertible? Would I cut a section out of the middle and weld it together?

Correct.. it's not perfect but convertible seat bottoms early or late are hard to find in any condition.
