() Date: October 16, 2022 11:51AM Got the headliner in, turned out well for my first one. Also added Dzus quarter turn fasteners to the rear hatch instead of needing a screw driver. Installed gas tank with in tank pump and brake and fuel lines. -Tom ![]() 63' Monza Spyder Convertable (in process) MY Build Thread 62' Wagon rebuild MY Build Thread 65' Monza MY Build Thread 73' NovaSS 454 Big block (Sold) 86' BMW 325es 67' UltraVan 211 "Violet" NFCC, UMCC Grand Island, NY Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

() Date: October 17, 2022 07:42AM Wow, great work!! Is the other hose a return line and where will it discharge to? Are you adding EFI to this car? Ken Ken Henry, Rochester, NY USA 1965 Corvair Corsa 140 hp, 4 speed Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

() Date: October 17, 2022 07:51AM Yes will be using FI. I already put in a brass "t" into the tank-filler neck hose and attached return hose. Ted Browns system has a filter right on the other side of the bulkhead with a built in filter regulator. -Tom ![]() 63' Monza Spyder Convertable (in process) MY Build Thread 62' Wagon rebuild MY Build Thread 65' Monza MY Build Thread 73' NovaSS 454 Big block (Sold) 86' BMW 325es 67' UltraVan 211 "Violet" NFCC, UMCC Grand Island, NY Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

() Date: October 17, 2022 07:24PM I just noticed the swell back of the front seat pockets. Like in the olden days. When I restored my Corsa coupe, I also did the headliner. My 1st one too. They are still listed in their catalog. [ssl.corvair.com] Part number C7176: WAGON HINGE COVER SET OF LF & RT- ORIGINALS **SCREWS=C1438A (FULL SET) Weight:17 lbs 0 oz, Catalog Page(s):271C Price:$160.10 The Monza Wagon my Dad bought new got small speakers installed in the hinge cover. I don't recall how good they sounded because I was only six years old when he bought it and in my early teens when he sold it. Years later when I was able to purchase the very same car, I still never paid attention to the sound quality of those speakers. 1962 95 F.C. () Date: October 19, 2022 12:44PM Yes mine are reproductions from clarks and thicker than the ones that were there. Price:$160.10 While Tom and I may both have wagons the similarity stops there. His will be beyond showroom nice and mine.., a few engine revolutions from the crusher. $160 is right about 25% of all the money I will spend on my "free" Lakewood. But for those that want the part it is nice to know it is available. Interesting Clark's site says the part is 17 pounds! The original feels like 2 pounds - on a damp day, with lots of condensation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ***'61 Lakewood, a "Freebie" in hibernation for 27 years - In the process of applying CPR.*** Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

() Date: October 20, 2022 12:03PM Tom, did the Killmat stick well to the ceiling as shown in your post of Sept 18? Also, is that Killmat in the ceiling above the load floor? You said: "First layer butyl mat, the second layer closed cell heat and sound deadener." Thanks, Wade Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

() Date: October 20, 2022 12:30PM Yes, stuck very well with roller. Yes first killmat and then the closed cell foam. Killmat always on metal to deaden sound through metal then the closed cell muffles what gets through the killmat. -Tom ![]() 63' Monza Spyder Convertable (in process) MY Build Thread 62' Wagon rebuild MY Build Thread 65' Monza MY Build Thread 73' NovaSS 454 Big block (Sold) 86' BMW 325es 67' UltraVan 211 "Violet" NFCC, UMCC Grand Island, NY Re: Wild for a Wagon ![]() Posted by:

My Guess is that due to the size of the item, even if it is two pieces, the posted weight relates to shipping costs in some way. 1962 95 F.C.
