() Date: October 15, 2021 05:33PM As far back as the rear wheels appear to be I would guess the engine is behind the cab. That is probably what the shirtless guy is looking at. Joel Northlake, TX 5 Ultravans, 141 Corvairs and counting... ![]() Re: Rampside tractor Posted by:

Yes. ![]() I remember as a kid, ALL "proper" T-Bucket Roadsters, Sand-Rails, and fiberglass Dune Buggies used Beer Kegs as Gas tanks. ![]() Anything less was just second-rate. ![]() -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- WA. state, 1 mile south of the Canadian border, I am not at the end of the world, but you can see it from here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Rampside tractor Posted by:

() Date: October 16, 2021 06:59AM Hold on there just a second doggies. If you worked for JPL in the 1960/70's. Surplus oxygen tanks were everywhere. Actually worked better than beer kegs. Because they were considerably lighter. Attachments: ![]() Re: Rampside tractor Posted by:

() Date: October 16, 2021 09:16AM Yes, but it probably took several kegs worth of beer to come up with the idea of making an underpowered Rampside into a tractor to pull a trailer that is too small for anything useful. Re: Rampside tractor Posted by:

() Date: October 16, 2021 09:55AM The beer kegs would have been way more fun. Having JPL in my back pocket was awesome. I am a Space Brat since Titan I about 1958. Attachments: ![]() Re: Rampside tractor Posted by:
