>>> Neck Injury - Greg Petersen of Corvair Specialties <<<

Dave Oehlman (d8door) posted this on Instagram, and it bears repeating here.

Quote
Dave Oehlman
"Just got a call from Long time friend and #Corvair mechanic Greg Petersen @corvairspecialties that he had a swimming accident that broke his neck at c5 and c6 and nearly drowned. Luckily he was saved and is going into Surgery tomorrow for a rod placement. So far they say He was very lucky to have the movement he has (all limbs, able to hold the phone) so far they said 90% but let's give it everything we got, Prayers, Positive Vibes, well wishes and Corvair gods to bring Him back as close to 100% as possible."

Praying for the complete recovery of Greg Petersen.

Don't know him but that sounds horrible.

My cousin was paralyzed from diving into a pool.

Hope he has a full recovery.

He is in our thoughts and our prayers. I have known Greg for a long time
seeing him every year in Palm Springs. I have referred a few customers to him
who have been happy with his Corvair work. Good luck Greg.

He is lucky. Most of those injuries lead to loss in all four limbs. Medicine today is amazing, they will have him up in no time. I'm thinking of him and wishing all good things for him.

Oddly, I just had those two vertebrae fused in June. I was losing feeling and the neurosurgeon fixed it up.

I thought the Corvair Specialties guy is Keith something who lives in Arizona and Canada.
Who is Greg Petersen?
Regardless of whether I know him I certainly wish him well.

I think Greg called himself Corvair Specialists and is with Vintage or South Coast Corsa. I know he has a "home based" business and also did some mobile repairs.

Okay, Corvair Specialists rather than Corvair Specialties.

He sounds like a fellow after my own heart and I hope it's going okay.
