Wanted: 1961 front grill badge emblem

Hi Everyone,

Making slow progress on my 61 sedan restoration. One of the things I'm having a hard time finding is a replacement triangular 'emblem' that fits inside the front grill badge that goes across the front of the car (see picture below). I only need the triangular emblem part (arrow points at it) as the folks who had the car before me lost it somehow, but the rest of the large grill badge assembly is in great shape. (The emblem doesn't have to be new like shown in the pictures - I'll take just about anything, lol).

For what it is worth, there is a NOS 1961 front emblem currently listed on e-bay with a Buy it Now price of $199.00 and $10.43 shipping from Holladay, Tennessee.

The seller does note an imperfection between the letters V and A.

Thanks for the heads up, but I really only need the triangle emblem in the middle - I have the rest of the entire large badge.

Maybe I should just try to find someone who could 3D print one?

Never pulled my 61 grill bar off, but can a 64 insert be cut down to fit?

Thanks Doug, but I don't think the '64 and '61 emblems are interchangeable. I believe the '64 is more of an equilateral triangle and not as 'wide' as the '61 I need.

Oops, sorry oldwrench. I misunderstood the year you are looking for. My bad. I couldn't find a 61 in Clarks book either. I just checked Calif. Corvairs site too - no 61 emblems.
