well I put new brass bushings and they work a lot better then the plastic ones way more smooth.I got them from amazon [www.amazon.com] they have to be filed and sanded a tad but in the end very nice.smiling smiley

He he you saw that the dang rod was not long enough so had to make it a little longer heated the themostat and it opens all the way.Could not connect the rod was at the end of the threads.the outer box is bolted on in the right place.almost ready to put the trans back on then can put the box and check the fit.

Its 13 and 1/4 inch's long clarks C207A but for some reasion a tad to short.The box end may need to be shortened a tad when I put it back on well see.Not permanent can be removed and changed.well see how the bolts line up.

It looks like there is a lot of adjustment left to extend the rod. About an inch if I am seeing correctly. Why not just adjust the rod using the available threads?

The bolt is in the hole where the rod go's so wood have to unthread the rod all the way and would have like 4 threads inside.
