"was looking at the one jjohn posted says 65-69 will that also fit a 63."
There isn't one that fits 65-69 and no a LM differential won't fit your 63.
I wouldn't buy a rebuilt differential from someone that doesn't know '65 isn't the same as '66-'69. The one in the picture is a '65.

??? confused smiley ???
Yes, I am quite aware that an LM diff won't go into an LM, but what's this about '65 being different?
Other than having the Dip-Stick, just what is so different?
I really NEED to know this. eye popping smiley

'65 is 4 bolt transmission '66 up is 6 bolt. My old mind can't pull it up right now but there is a difference in either the transmission output shaft length or spline depth in the pinion shaft also.

The pinion shaft is different (and 65 is a one year only part).
61-64 manual trans diff. will work in a 63. And by chance those
were the most produced years. It won't be hard to find a replacement.

Interesting.
I wrote that wrong.
I wrote, "I am quite aware that an LM diff won't go into an LM".
I meant to say, I am quite aware that an LM diff won't go into an EM.
But I expect you all figured that out.
The reason I asked, is that my '67 is running a '65 drivetrain.

Depends on transmission:

The trans crossmember is the same for a P/G.

65 manual is different from 66-69 manual.

U-joint bolts for 65 are 1/4; 66-69 are 5/16.

Not an issue except for careless mechanics who use the soft valve cover bolts instead of the harder 65 u-joint bolts.

Some people have drilled and taped 65 yokes to use the 5/16” bolts.

The '65 P/G crossmember is different than a '66 and later one but they will interchange with no modifications.

ok on the side of the car says 900 monza and under that says spyder. If I look on the motor it has 2 carb's.But looks like there was a hole on the right side that has been patched closed.Im thinking they did away with the tubro and just put to carb setup.

YN is a naturally aspirated engine. But who cares? You only need the MT differential.

3 and 4 speed differentials are the same. They are not stamped MT.
