I like the concept of daytime running lights, but my old brain would forget most of the time to turn them off. Anyone wired a ‘buzzer’ or something similar to remind you to shut them off. If so, how and with what? Didn’t see any previous posts on it. Thanks.

Run them with a relay... wire it's coil to ign. fed terminal on the wiper motor!

I have super bright white / amber switchback LED in my park/ turn lights. Real simple to add a sonalert that sounds off if I shut down with the lights on.

GM marketed a buzzer for years to warn you that you left your lights on. Unfortunately I never had one last more than a year. Now they can be quite pricey in NOS form. I do still have one or two brand new in the package that I intend to keep.

If I knew how I'd unhook every buzzer and dingdong in our Ford Rangers a 2006 and a 2011.

I just turned on the headlights, with a door open.
Followed the sound up, under the dash, until I found the chime, and then unplugged it.
Newer cars that may not work as well, it might be integrated into a circuit-board, or even tied into the computer, and has to be functional for some items to work.
I wouldn't put it past the Nanny State to do that to us.
