Thanks to everyone that recommended the EZcarlift! I finally used mine. Wish I got it ALONG time ago.

I used my EZ car lift to help lower-raise and replace my 50 gallon water heater last week! Love the portability! Used it last year out in the parking lot at my brothers hanger to lift a 65 Monza!
One of the best at home tools I got years ago!
I store mine by just tipping it up and out of the way against the garage wall.
Easy!

I love mine! Easy to move around, lifts quick enough for me.

Not sure how I did without it, now. I like that its basically unobstructed down the center-length of the car.

I have been thinking of a lift, and have researched Quick Jack as well as EZ Lift.

Seems Quick Jack is cheaper, and has hydraulic action, but EZ lift is lighter, so possibly more portable.

Any thoughts

EZ Lift was designed by a Corvair guy and is US-made.

Just purchased the "roll over" kit from Boytcho. He is a brilliant engineer and very easy to work with.

His products are top quality.

Give him a call at 805-331-0311. He loves to talk with Corvair people.

I recently purchased the Quick lift- price was my main concern- after having used it a few times I would point out the only draw backs it has over EZlift is price- lift height is similar and access to underbody virtually the same- BUT it you are looking for portability- go with EZlift- the Quick lift advertises portability but it is heavy- for my purposes it is fine- Just my .02 cents. I went with EZ Lift because it goes higher than a Quick lift.
Plus not much can go wrong except the used drill I bought to operate it. No hydraulic to go bad or leak down the road.
And as 'Flat Six' pointed out, he's got multiple different accessories that can be added to it for an additional cost.

I'm over 6 feet so I wanted the extra height the EZ Lift has.

Is that the kit that deletes the Corvair front sway bar and sets the tire pressure at 35 PSI all around?

I would have probably purchased an EZ Car Lift except for finding a 1982 UNIC Strongman portable lift for less money on Craigslist. It is the perfect lift for my workshop lifestyle that includes lifting, moving or spinning cars around the driveway as well as loading/unloading trucks and trailers and even lifting pallets of cement tile to my patio roof. Belly access is great too. Rated to 5000#.

Talk about portability...
I easily brought my EZ Car Lift home in a 3 door Toyota Yarus hatchback, with 2 adults inside! smileys with beer
