The main key is getting the rack height correct for the height or stance of the car it is going on.
So the bump steer is correct.

I was confused on that too. Wondering how or why you would use a 260Z ring and pinion in a Corvair.

Did the tie rod tubes reach properly? Nate Wolfe swapped in a Mustang 2 into his car. He said that was a huge job. When i asked if he would do mine for a fee, he declined.

Yes they fit perfectly. My next task is to hook up the 260Z steering shaft to the Corvair steering column shaft with the pieces from the kit. Very happy with the quality of the kit.

I needed a substantial dent in my gas tank to accommodate the different shaft on my Rack setup. I spotted a front tank and thought I'd give you a heads up

Yes, the tank heeds a dent, or be professionally modified.

Mustang 2 rack here but if it's any way similar you can see where the coupler hits the tank on the edge. I was able to "massage" the tank without removing it from the car. My setup I also had to cut a hole out of the bottom corner of the trunk to clear the other coupler but it appears the z rack won't have that problem because it is mounted a ways away from the cross member compared to mine.

Mine is similar to Nate's, tried to attach photo but don't remember how to adjust file size. Tank started leaking a couple years ago so I had a piece formed, cut the tank and welded the indent in. Worked pretty good.
