My Project Car is finally 99% finished and ready for the 2021 Local Car Show Season. This car started out as an Indianapolis Parade Car and has a 100 hp Corvair engine running in reverse direction coupled to a VW Transaxle. The low profile of the Corvair Engine allowed me to build the "Spaghetti" Exhaust system which is not functional but for show. The intake velocity stacks are functional and allow air into the two Corvair Carbs. The Valve Covers and Injection tubing was added to complete the look. The Body is fiberglass and was modified to look like the 1967 Ferrari Formula 1 car driven by Lorenzo Bandini at Monaco.
I'm pretty happy with the results and will wait to see what the car show people have to say about it.

Wow! What a creative effort. 5-10 year project? Suspension is all custom, am I right?

I can't take credit for the chassis. This was the way I got it. It was built for a man in Indianapolis who was a member of a Shriner Indy 500 Club. They used these cars for parades and even drove them on the track at Indy during parade laps. The suspension was close to what I was looking for to make this Ferrari 312 Replica. It was already Corvair powered and I changed the carbs and updated the ignition and a few other improvements.

I remember that video of that scale model Ferrari that actually works. That guy is one amazing engineer and builder.

Even if you only did minor stuff, the effort keep it going so that others can enjoy it is fantastic. Glad you shared it with us.

I had to watch it twice.
I was so wrapped up in listening, I hadn't even notice the evolution of the car, until they hit Brazil.
