() Date: March 29, 2021 07:59AM hello, Matt Nall in Coos Bay, ore. 100 miles from Eugen or Roseburg, has a RL engine i would like to buy. Is anyone out there in that area that could pick it up and strap on a pallet and drop off at a Fastenal store? I would make the Fastenal arrangements and offer a pick up fee. Thanks joe, North Carolina Re: Engine delivery to Fastenal Posted by:

() Date: March 29, 2021 09:05AM Have you checked with Fastenal to see if they will actually ship it? Last time I tried to ship something with them they said they would not ship between "regions" due to virus. Joel Northlake, TX 5 Ultravans, 116 Corvairs and counting... ![]() Edited 1 time(s). Last time I tried to ship something with them they said they would not ship between "regions" due to virus. Craig replies: I thought the same thing about this request. When I checked into shipping my NOS quarter panel a couple of weeks ago, Fastenal had a dividing line somewhere around Colorado. They would ship between points West of the line or East of the line but they would not ship across the line. Things may have changed since early March but that was the situation then. Craig N. Shipping "Terminal to Terminal" is really reasonable and they have good tracking. In the past, I've shipped several V8 and I6 diesel engines plus the Olds V8 using Roadway and they all worked out fine. The secret is to fill out the shipping docs in advance online to get a "PRO" number. With a PRO number, the shipping cost is about one-third of the "walk-in" rate. Craig N. That would be "Oak Harbor Freight Lines" May not need a Broker. Click on their name above and you will see their freight connections. Initiate with Oak Harbor Freight and they will likely be able to route it for you to the destination location.
