() Date: February 21, 2021 07:01PM I just thought I'd take a moment to thank the San Diego chapter of CORSA for all their efforts to arrange the National Convention. They dealt with issues no one else ever had to deal with, and got all their ducks in row--twice!--and I'm sure cancellation of the 2020, and now 2021 convention, have hit them as hard as any of us. Thank you, San Diego. Catch you next time. ____________________________________________ Eric C. () Date: February 22, 2021 06:50AM I completely agree. I met some of the San Diego planning team members at the Pittsburg convention. They were actively engaged observing, talking to members, taking notes and developing enhanced plans. They put a great effort into developing a terrific convention, one which I was eagerly looking forward to attending... twice. Thank you very much San Diego for giving so much of yourselves for all of us! () Date: February 22, 2021 12:24PM Yes, a big THANK YOU to the SDCC. I know you folks would have done a great job with the convention. I also know J.J. (R I P) and Lori and Larry Tustoson (?) did a lot of setup and planning as well as many others in that club. They always make a large presence in Palm Springs where I got to know quite a few of them. I like to think Corvairs will converge again in San Diego. Just not yet. Re: Thank you, San Diego CORSA ![]() Posted by:

() Date: February 23, 2021 06:13AM I figure this deserves a bump. Needs a lot more attention! Re: Thank you, San Diego CORSA ![]() Posted by:

() Date: February 23, 2021 06:50AM Hopefully, if the SDCC wants to, they can host when the convention rotates back to the west coast. They've already done most of the hard work, provided the venues would all be available at that time. () Date: February 23, 2021 01:34PM I absolutely agree with the sentiments posted here. Thank you so much San Diego Corvair Club. Joan and I were looking forward attending to the convention you all worked so hard to arrange for us. I'm sure it would have been a good time for all. ![]() Re: Thank you, San Diego CORSA ![]() Posted by:

() Date: February 23, 2021 03:14PM As someone who took part in 2 national conventions here in Denver (1981 and 2011) I cannot imagine the disappointment that everyone in the San Diego club as well as the national office and anyone else who was involved in the planning is feeling now. I had no plans to attend either last year or this year but I was certainly hoping everyone would have a grand time and enjoy their Corvairs and the friends around every event. THANK YOU hardly seems enough to all of you. best wishes, Steve Rear Engine Spec. Inc.
