My plans have changed and I have Crown Corv8 conversion transaxle, subframe and shift linkage for sale. Will not separate and I am asking $1500 for everything. He is actually asking if you know the gear ratio of the crown-converted transmission. It is either stock (Corvair) 3.11 to 1 or close ratio 2.54 to 1. Do you know which?

There looks to be two rings on the input gear when i zoom in which would make it a 3.11 first. Too bad its just about as far as you can get from Georgia :/ Properly set up the Crown will hold a 460 hp 383 all day Long !

It's still amazing to see how many Crown parts are still floating around in this world. We'll make a point to notify V-8 Registry members of these parts.

Whoever buys the diff should send it off to Mike Levine and have it beefed up to 4-spider spec. He does these well and without the upgrade, failure is just a matter of time.

last month I bought another Crown kit pile-o-parts from Tacoma. Without the subframe, the Crowned trans will be 200 lbs plus the crate. My shipment was 300lb because seller included extra stuff. Shipping from WA to FL was expensive. FedEx quoted me a stupid number and I said no, then they said today only they could authorize a 60% discount. I said no and called UPS. Stupid number, said no thanks. Well, today only, we can offer you a 75% discount if you can have it on our loading dock by 5pm today. I have no idea why they were playing price games but I took the UPS offer, ended up $530 WA to FL with seller dropping it off and me picking it up at the depot. You might be able to work with a WA shipper who could do better. BTW, UPS Freight was just sold off by UPS.

Still way cheaper than retrieving yourself!
