My 87 year-old mother uses an iPhone 6S, an iPad, MacBook and an iMac. I brought her over to Mac when my dad passed 7 years ago. He was a dedicated Windows Guy. Learning can take place. “A change in behavior as a result of experience”
Mac OS and iOS are not hard. Just different. FWIW It is the standard in many industries ie. creative, audio/visual production, etc.
People have opinions on planned obsolescence. Pick your device/hardware/vehicle/...
I actually find OS/iOS quite intuitive.
