I got lucky then when my first car was a '66 Corsa that happened to have been optioned with what I thought was a very nice wheel design. At first I was kind of bummed that it was not a 3-spoke like I had been used to on other cars, but the visibility of the wonderfully designed gauge cluster and the good positioning for hands made me change my mind fairly quickly. () Date: February 21, 2021 12:05PM The 3 spoke steering wheel did not become standard equipment until 67. All the Corvair steering wheels up thru 66 were 2 spoke. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
