Also have a front grille piece that the studs are to short for the OEM fasteners- the PO of my car had t on with black adhesive (POR7?) and it was on good- jut not correct. I'm thinking $40 or BO plus shipping. more pics in following posts.

I had to look twice and I was going to state THAT IS A 66 (rear) grille "FOR SURE".
Then I realized Lee was talking about your front grille bar.

No exact idea on rear grille itself, but I recently priced the aluminum face that goes over it, and Clark's lists them (whether NOS or repro) for about $200, though they are out of stock currently. So I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 to $300 is market value for a rear grille from a Corvair dealer.

Not sure how that translates to forum deals though. You can get things here for anything from a handshake and a smile, to $900 and a Subaru trade.

Also, FYI it is easy to find a mirror for $32 plus shipping, or slightly less. If you are interested.

LOL.....thanks for info. on the rear lower grille- I think I'll set a price of $45 plus shipping- It isn't a perfect example so I think that is fair.

I got to thinking... knowing how things could get screwy on first day of new year production... I wonder how unique it would be if the factory painted that front grille bar Blue just to move along first 1966 production???
Most likely some previous owner painted it tho!

I did have a 1965 Monza, Powerglide that had a 64 pinion shaft in the diff. It was not drilled for the 65 FC speedo drive. Never disassembled. So it looked like a factory install.

Just pondering the oddities that happened!
