O/T: info wanted - accessory hand held spotlight

Was there a Chevy or bowtie spotlight, or were all branded GM? What color was the power cord, brown or black? I've seen photos what were supposedly NOS units, the adapter that fit in the cigarette lighter socket was silver plastic. Is that correct for 1965-66?

I have one listed that has Buick on it but needs a cord. Been asking $20 but no takers.
I figure this is the year it will go where other parts go that don't sell.
