I'm putting some weather stripping on and remembered that there was usually little clips that mounted to keep the door window from moving out- anyone have pictures of some installed?

Not sure what your referring to. There is the window vertical channel at the wing window. Then the channel inside the door on the latch side.

Paul, I know what you are talking about, but our cars do not use those.
Those are used on slightly more modern cars that have ZERO window supports.
Since our cars do have some support provided by the front window channel at the wind-wing, we do not need them.

OK, I just saw them in Clarks catalog and assumed our LM's used them asthey are listed-

Our cars do have Blow-Out Clips!
They are so small, I have never even noticed them.
I had to go out to my car and double check. Tiny little things.
They seem to be more for the weather strip, than the door glass though.
The window doesn't go behind them like newer cars do.

Hmmm, Interesting.

Have to 65 Corvairs that were "acquired" with 40,000 to 50,000 miles.

Over the decades, I have replaced the roof rail weather strips and I have never seen the piece described.

I need to check some cars. I've never seen those either.

Exactly like Clark's says, "about 1 in front of the 1/4 window weatherstrip".
Interestingly, my '66 that is still wearing it's old crumbling factory ORIGINAL weatherstripping, only has one (1).
It is mounted on the Driver side, and none was ever mounted on the Passenger side.
Please excuse the poor picture quality.
I was shooting outside in the dark, with ability to see what I was pointing at until the flash went off.

So what is the purpose of these? They are not blow out clips as AMel noted they are behind the glass. I checked a couple of cars and they both had them.
